There's a First Time for Everything!

So this Memorial Day weekend was filled with lots of "firsts" for Layla and Jenna.  They made their first out-of-town trip down to Lawton to visit Lolli and Pop and to meet Delois, better known as Auntie Delo.  We spent several days orchestrating our departure for this one-night stay to ensure we wouldn't forget anything and we were slightly anxious about how the girls would react to being away from home.  Well, not only did we live to tell about it, but we all had a wonderful time.

All packed and ready to go for our FIRST trip!

Can't forget the girls!

Almost there!

Entering Lolli and Pop's house for the FIRST time.

Hanging with the aunts.

Jenna's FIRST feeding with Auntie Delo.

Layla's FIRST feeding with Aunt Betty (great, great aunt).

All gussied up for their FIRST backyard cookout.

Layla and Jenna loved being held by lots of people.

They had so much fun...maybe too much fun!

They ended the night with their FIRST dip in the pool.

The next day, we had our FIRST family brunch at the Lawton Country Club.

Which, again, tuckered Layla and Jenna out!

Thanks, Lolli and Pop, for taking such good care of us...Cookie and Cupcake can't wait to visit again!
