Our little family had the most wonderful Fourth of July weekend (yes, I realize it was over a month ago, give me a break)! It was one of those weekends where we didn't really have much planned, but as the days progressed, our social calendar just got busier and busier. The best part is, we got to celebrate the weekend with friends and family. On the actual holiday, we participated in a neighborhood parade...not our neighborhood, but one close by.
Of course, we pimped the girls' ride and all donned our red, white, and blue.
Layla: "How do I look?"
Jenna: "Just as fabulous as I do, I'm sure!"
"We've got our snacks...let's get this show on the road!"
The girls did great throughout the entire parade. I'm sure the snacks helped. Everything always goes smoother when snacks are involved!
When we reached the end, the girls got out to stretch their legs...of course, they couldn't leave their snacks behind!
Jenna: "Mmmmm...tasty!
Layla: "Yup, I'd have to agree!"
Layla: "Got my snack, got my clapper, what more can a girl ask for?"
Uh oh, looks like Jenna had to be wrangled in.
I just love my Miss Americas!
Thanks for inviting us to the parade, Brittany. We had so much fun!
